KDF® 55 1 Litre

KDF® process media are proprietary copper-zinc granules designed for water treatment, effectively eliminating or reducing chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals, and microorganisms through a redox chemical reaction. They serve as an economical and versatile solution for both new and retrofitted systems, often enhancing or replacing existing filtration technologies. Capable of removing over 95% of contaminants, KDF® media, especially KDF®-55, can eliminate more than 99% of free chlorine, extending the service life of granular activated carbon (GAC) systems by up to 15 times while cutting chlorine removal costs by over 50%. Additionally, KDF® is bacteriostatic, preventing bacterial growth that can occur in GAC, thus preserving its effectiveness for organic contaminant removal.
